[ARCHIVED] NFL Youth Flag Football – Late Registration Now Underway with Limited Spots

Are you ready for some football?  NFL Flag Football is returning to Canton this fall! Canton Leisure Services has partnered with Michigan Youth Flag Football, the largest youth flag football organization in the state, to bring this exciting and popular league to our residents. Games are played at the Canton Sports Center on Sunday afternoon’s beginning in September. Practices take place one hour prior to game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all. Participates will receive a NFL reversible jersey, flag belt, eight weeks of instruction, seven game season, background check and trained coaches, state of the art website, and an individual participation award. Games are officiated by MHSAA referees.

This is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format for grades Pre K – 8th. Teams are limited to 10 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first time players who want to learn the fundamentals of football. This is also a wonderful opportunity for players who may want to continue to enhance their skills before taking the leap into tackle football.

There are no try-outs! Everyone participates! Children are placed on teams according to their school and grade to ensure classmates are playing together.

This is our late registration period. Teams are formed and we are now accepting registrations to fill up any vacancies we may have in our divisions. Registrations at this point, are being accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Please don’t delay and sign up today at

Late Registration Deadline: Limited Spots Remain, Registration Will Stay Open Until Teams Are Full.  Entry Fee: $133.50 (a late fee and processing fee will apply)
